They’re more resistant because I laminate the vinyl paper surface after printing on it! I have my own printer (a pain-in-the-ass inkjet, which is great when it works and an absolute nightmare when it doesn’t) and laminator, so once I’ve printed the stickers out and given them adequate time to dry, I laminate the sticker side. I suspect they will probably still fade over time, especially if they’re exposed to the sun directly a lot, but they seem to hold up well in my experience (I stuck some on my laptop and phone as an experiment some time ago and they’re still fine) so I’m happy with the results :)

As for the buttons, I have a button machine+supplies that I bought some years ago that I use to make them myself. I’ve forgotten where I got it from but I’m sure you can search online and find quite a few places to purchase them from in various sizes nowadays (the one I use is for 1.5 inch buttons).
